Sometimes I need to think outside of the box when it comes to stitching odd shapes. This shape I had laying in my craft supplies for the past two or three years with not a clue of how to stitch it.
As I was researching cultural embroidery stitches (specifically stitches traditional to Brazil, China and Ukraine) I found my ah-ha moment and new how to stitch this thing up using a combination of stitches I just learned.
Stitches I used for it:
woven wheel stitch (centre of rose)
overcast stitch (rose petals)
woven leaf stitch (large leaves)
interlock stitch (small leaves)
As I do not have a computer program where I can properly add stitches to curved shapes, I used a paint shop program to do up this pattern for you.
