Pumpkin Stack Magnet

Materials Required to make 1 (one) magnet:

• 1 sheet of 7 count mesh plastic canvas (10.5 inch by 13.5 inch)

• Yarn (yarn size #4 or worsted weight): black, orange, gold, dark green, lime green, burgundy

• One piece of felt same size as finished piece

• Sewing thread or glue

• One magnet

Tools Required:

• Tapestry needle

• Scissors

• Glue gun (optional)

Pattern Instructions:

1. Cut a rectangle 20 holes wide by 50 holes high.

2. Sew the tent stitches, straight stitches and back stitches as per diagram in the yarn colours shown.

3. Using the overcast stitch, finish the outside edges in black yarn.

4. Sew or glue a piece of felt to the back side of the plastic canvas piece, slipping a magnet in between the felt and canvas before sewing or gluing the last edge.
